As per the year 2017 is concerned, three lotteries already held by the MHADA, which is a Government organization that deals with flat construction and plot selling. The third one is in the process.
List of MHADA Lottery 2017 City & Where Lottery of Flat will be Held in 2018
The first lottery for the year 2016 was held in the month of January. It was for Konkan and Mumbai region. The online applications were invited by the 15th of January 2016. 7th February 2016 was the last date of online registration. The location of this project was Thane, Virar, Mira Road and Vengurla. This lottery was for 4275 homes. Out of which 3755 homes in Virar, 310 Mira Road, 164 in Kavesar Thane, 19 in Balkum Thane and 27 in Vengurla Sindhudurga. This lottery was held in Rangsharada auditorium in Bandra. The cost of units ranges between Rs. 4.37 lakh and Rs. 40.93 lakh . The sizes of flats under this scheme were 368sq feet and 670sq feet. The result of this first lottery came in the month of April.
The second lottery for the year 2016 of MHADA held in the month June. The registration began from 23rd of June and continued till July 24th. The online application was accepted from 24th June to 25th of July. Its result has been declared on 24th of August 2016. MHADA lottery scheme had released this time 972 houses at different places in Mumbai like –Dahisar, Borivali, Goregaon, Kandivali, Andheri, Malad, Powai etc. This time, MHADA released 972 houses out of which 582 flats are under construction and it will take around two years to complete this construction.
The third lottery scheme of MHADA 2016 is recently been released for the city Pune. It is open now for the interested applicants. If you have loosed the golden chance in last two lottery schemes in this year then you must go by the third one. The online application is started from 6th September 2016. The last date of online application is 5th October 2016. This time, MHADA has launched the allotment of 2503 flats and 67 plots in Pune. It is offering 2570 affordable flats and Plots in Pimpri, Tal-Khed, Shivaji Nagar, Wanowari, Purandar, Solapur and Phaltan Satara.
Those who want to apply online can easily apply for the lottery of MHADA sitting at home. The applicants need to open the official website of MHADA i.e. www.mhada.gov.in. MHADA aims to provide 135 Higher Income Group (HIG) units, 228 Middle Income Group (MIG) units, 416 Lower Income Group (LIG) units and 190 Economical Weaker Section (EWS) units.
Also the good news for the applicants that the rate of the lottery is expected to be cheaper than the previous years. Also, this time, the winner applicants will get affordable homes.
Moreover ownership possession will be possible easily. As because in place of including buildings which have only got Commencement Certificate (CC), only buildings those are on the way of getting Occupation Certificate (OC) in the next six months are included. This will save the candidates from any type of hassle.
